Wtb: 93+ Mr2 Tranny

Looking for a 93+ LSD Tranny with or without axles. PM with a price and how much shipping would be to me L5N6Y1. I'm willing to pick up 8hrs from me. Located in Mississauga Canada.

correct upon further examination it turns out its not lsd, just an open diff. 93 mr2 tranny. for 1000 I got ripped a new hole that tranny shouldn't cost 600. So instead of dealing with all the hastles I'm returning it and now I'm looking at spending 1350cnd to have another one shipped to me from virgina or texas, take your pick.

There is one in montreal for 1000 plus shipping, or a used one in toronto for 1500 already converted. I should have another one by sat. which one I don't know. But this is the least of my worries right now.

why not just buy the one in toronto from someone you know and can inspect before the purchase. Plus its already converted... seems like a no brainer to me. Its what you should have done in the first place IMO.
Have you already sent the other tranny back? Are you sure your gonna get your money back when you send it?

I didn't do that in the first place because the guy was asking 1800cnd for it and would not budge on the price, I'll be paying him 1500cnd now plus another 300 for a good clutch. When I started looking for an lsd tranny I planned on spending 1500 with a clutch & all necessary hardware.

When I return the tranny I will be getting my money back as me purchasing it was dependant on me getting the other axle which I have yet to receive, so when i called him and told him that i was unhappy with the tranny & service I received. As well dissapointed no one had contacted me in over 10days about getting it, and I asked specifically for an update by last friday. But that fell on deaf ears I guess. Talked to the importer and he told me to bring it back as this sale was conditional upon him finding me the driverside axle.

If I knew it was gonna be like this I would have spent the extra money and had one shipped in for 1300cnd from two weeks ago, and had it converted and driving by now.

Thing is I can't wait any longer. I have a very close family is getting really sick and I need to be able to go and spend the evenings & weekends with him as he doesn't have anyone there to help him. I saw this coming but I was hoping to be finished my tranny swap before I started back at work

So you got the tranny from an importer and not private sale.. That'll make things a bit easier at least
