3SGTE swap or 5SFE 5spd tranny?

anyone got a 3SGTE in working order at a decent price? and a 5sfe manual transmission....maybe even both??

depends on your idea of a decent price. "Locker" (mike) or "3sgte@daspeedof" (tyrone) will have a good idea of the cost. But I know one of the guys over at the site formentioned told me for engine, tranny, ecu, and wiring harness I'd be looking at $1000-1500 probably, depending on which gen and such I wanted.

you have a good chance to find a 5sfe manual tranny @ www.car-part.com -- you can use it to locate parts at junkyards in ontario.

thanks, but i still need the motor, ive got a 5sf in my car now but its got alot of k on it and wouldnt stand up to the 3sgte so if anyones got a motor for sale....or maybe a cheap 5sfe motor with low k on it...??
