the oil light flickered for 5 seconds ...and then the crankshaft popped.
lotsa noise later i'd managed to move it to my buddies house where the mechanic told me it wasn't worth a rebuild job..so i need a new(as new as they get) engine.

Any 5S-FE 2.2L will work.
Either get a low milage or rebuilt a cheap high milage one.
