WTB: 5th gen ----- All trac

Looking for a 5th gen All Trac.

Let me know if you know some one whose selling it.

There is one in the auto trader for 8,000 176k, red, and a few other option. Looks clean but it doesn't show up at autotrader.ca, its is in the magazine. There is also one in NS for 5000 I believe but its seen better days, and there was one in ontario can't remember the price or specs. It was posted on celicatech or alltrac.net

up again!!!!.........i know therez one in THAMESFORD........but i don't think the weather will permit me takin a look at that one!

I know someone else going to look at it this weekend. So I'll let you know how if it needs anything. That one is going for 6g obo, and it had a motor swap done to it.

yea man......i spoke to the owner......i was suppose to go down there (thamesford) today but i don't think the weather will be tooooo welcoming especially down there.
The owner said that the engine swap had been done by TOYOTA!!!!........therez no rust on the car what so ever. Only thing that might be a problem he said was that there is a ticking sound coming from near the alternator......which could very well be the alternator itself!!!!
Also i think hez the second owner.......i think it was owned by a doctor before this guy.
I THINK ITS WORTH TAKING A LOOK FOR SURE...........thought i'd let you know!

But do keep me posted as well!!!!

If Im not mistaken, this is the same one that was for sale at the beginning of the year. I called him and the guy said the motor was swapped with the ST-162. He also said he was the second owner. Make sure you ask him which motor was swapped in there. The ad doesnt say, and I think it kinda slipt when he told me. If its the same car, Id stay away from it.

you should be able to tell if it has a small wta ic, then its a good possibility its a st165 motor.

^They could easily keep the stock ic and just swap engine.

yes, but then it boils down to how well you know the car you are buying, the st165 motor has a different exaust manifold & turbo, those are the biggest give aways as to what motor is in there, as the two are not interchangeable between the st165 & the st185, ic is another thing, as well the map sensor is green on the st165 instead of blue like on the st 185, I'm pretty sure the intake manifolds are different too. And if he doesn't have any egr stuff he knows its a jdm motor in it.
