nah its gotta be broken... I cleaned it out last week and the check engine light turned off. Now 700k later she's back on. so I figure its gotta be toast.

ECU don't know anything about the EGR. Check the VSV and vaccum lines connected to it. Mine has the top fall off and no light.
Simple rule: if there is no wire, ECU don't see it at all. BTW you need a copy of BGB? Last edited by Pineapple : 06-06-2007 at 10:55 AM. |

Everyone buying blocking plate to remove EGR. All you need is just plug the vaccum line. You can even plug the hose and connect it back. No code, nothing and it'll pass emission.
