I need a 5-spd manual transmision that is compatible with a 1988 GT-S with a jap 3S-GE.Ive heard that the transmission from a celica ST will work,but it has to manual.Message me if you have a compatible transmission for my car or email me at k.houan@gmail.com

any tranny from any S series motor will work.
so celica's from 1986-1989
1990-1997 GT or GTS tranny will work
camry tranny's from 1987-199???? 4cyl or 6cyl will work

Yes I am sure. Otherwise I would not have posted it.

Depending on which one you go with you may run into issues with the splines on your axels not matching but they will all bolt up to your tranny even the V6 Tranny. Fuck if you want LSD and FWD you either go aftermaket or you take an MR2 tranny and you convert it to FWD.

S series trannys will bolt into S series cars. S series motors will bolt into S series cars.

Do a little reading before asking any other questions please as you obviously need to learn a little more about your car

buds you need to learn to calm your ass down! You are new here and asking alot of questions that I have personally answered more than a dozen times this year. Think for 2 minutes before typing. Did I answer your question the first time? Yeah I sure did I told you any S series tranny would work. When you asked me if I was sure I explained why I was sure then advised you to read more about your car as you seemed to be well UN-informed as to what type of car you drive and using the search function would have answered your question.

Just so you know buds I don't respond to post and tell you things I think MIGHT work. I'll tell you what I know because I've tried to make it work.

Remember what your mother told you as kid... If you ask a Stupid question there is a good chance you get a stupid answer.
