WTB: 90-93 5SFE (S53) Manual Transmission
It seems like the differential in my S53 tranny took a crap. The 3sgte probably had something to do with it :)
Anyways I am looking for a 90-93 5SFE (S53) Manual Transmission locally in the Toronto area. PM me or Email. Thanks! |

i recommmend upgrading if this one is broken...look for a e153, mr2 or v6 camry

Yeah I would if I had the money to sink into the project. I am thinking Im going to have to part out the car. It is sad especially when I just put a new spec stage 2 clutch in it last thursday :(

buddy call a junkyard around the citry asking for a v6 camry tranny, i got a low km one for 200 bucks (my first was 450) and I have ZERO issues with it.
BTW the other one died because on of the shaft seals had a leak

The thing is that the body is in horrible condition. Its been hit from all sides ;) No rust just body damage everywhere. Its time to move on and start fresh.
Anybody need a 3SGTE ? :) |

No its not stock
92 3SGTE (bought engine w/~91,000km, put on ~72,000km in 3 years = 163k) ~228,000km on body AFTERMARKET 2.5" KO-Racing Downpipe 2.5" exhaust with magnaflow high flow cat, 4" resonator and stainless steel muffler Suspension Techniques Lowering Springs 1.5" with KYB GR2 struts SPEC clutch disk, OEM Pressure Plate, OEM throw out bearing, resurfaced flywheel (installed 100km ago) Momo Race Steering Wheel TWM Short Shifter Recently Changed Driver CV AXle (6mo) & Passenger CV Axle (100km) Clutch Master and Slave cylinder (100km) Front Rotors and Pads (5000km) Inner Tie Rods (5000km) Outer Tie Rods (8000km) Ball Joints (15000km) OEM Cap & Rotors (8000km) NGK BKR6E Plugs (1000km) Valve Cover Seals (outer and innter) The body panels are in real bad shape. There is no rust underneath but I doubt it would make sense to do the body work on the car. |

I have a E153 5 speed from a Solara with the axles and a whole lot of parts.. the E153 transmission has a Kaaz LSD installed in it.
