hey guys i have an 86 gt celica with the 2se motor 5 speed and i sure the fuel pump is out does anyone have an fuel pump for that car that they want to give away or sell it for cheap?hopefully in ohio so i can go pick it up?lmk asap

Not worth it. Don't buy a used pump. I wouldn't even buy an oem replacement pump.

Walboro pumps are often cheaper and way more performant. Up here in frozen land, a walboro 255lph goes for about 130$can brand new.

Only downside is they are a bit noisier than stock.


ps; don't expect power improvement from your stock car by upgrading your fuel pump.

ya i know about the warboro i have one i think but i was thinking it was way to big for the car but if it's not i'll put it in?I have one in my 86 shelby charger and it really loud

i would be willing to bet you money that your fuel pump is not the problem... I've had this same discussion countless times before. The fuel pump in your car sits inside the tank and rarely malfunctions. You may have a fuel issue but again I doubt its the pump

well what could it be i really need to know asap plus it started just fine with starting fluid so i can put the 255 in it and it will run?

fuel filter, leaky injectors, bad fuel pressure regulator....

why not do tests on each part before you decide? i mean even if the fuel pump is ok and the fuel pressure regulator is fucked then a new pump might help it for a while but it will only happen again...
