active topics

i was just wondering if we could just have a
list of active topics instead of topics that are active
since your last visit
sometimes i close the forum and dont finish reading all
the topics
then when i return it says there are no new posts
is there any way to change this??

i mean like if i close the browser and then re open the site
i would be able to see all of the topics as far back as i wanted
but with the most recent ones being first
obviously
i hate to say it but sorta like... c 7 has theirs set up

bwwaaahhhaa... i just typed c 7 and previewed the message and it is censored
too frickin funny

i know exactly what you mean.

currently the forum uses cookies alone to track a "visit". however, this poses a problem when people logout by accident or close their browser.

however there is a solution.

the forum can be modified to use both cookies AND a database to track "read" threads.

it's on my todo list, so expect it to be ready soon.
