Trying to find cars for sale.

I'm trying to find a car to buy. Is there an easier way then scrolling through the for sale sub-forum?

Theres only one car on page one. I think there should be separated sub-forums for cars and parts.

I would (and i believe others will too) greatly appreciate this new modification.

however if you hadn't noticed there isn't much for sale thats 'current' (within the past 60 days, to be fair).

If you want a better place to look try craigslist.com autotrader.com toyotanation.com has a few Toyotas for sale.

Most of the guys that have Celica's either part with them because they are beyond reasonable repair for that person, or they have been destroyed (or sometimes because they got a family or stuff, but that hasn't happened much lately)

OR...you could enjoy it for what it is. Use the search feature. Since you're looking to buy a specific car (alltrac given your intro post) it's pretty easy. The most recent alltracs posted were in Oct., both are 88's (4th gen). hm...seems I have to be a member to view mr2oc.com forums, unlike here where anyone can search the forums (except off topic) without being a member.

Personally I've seen better smilies on other forums, whoop-dee-shit.

I've also seen forums with more "specific" sub forum titles. Those forums are also populated by more regular posters, very impersonal, and hard to break into. Of course on those forums, there are posters who don't know where to post there thread so they post it in 2 or more forums.

Here's the deal. It's not that your idea is a completely bad idea. However, I, personally don't see the need for it on this particular forum for the amount of traffic that comes through here. We don't have hundreds of regular posters and hundreds of new threads all the time, and the thread search feature is very effective, if you know how to use it. Everyone is welcome, no one is forced to stay. Either you like it here, enjoy it for what it is, and use the information that is provided and/or ask for more, and the friendly people that are here...or...not. *shrugs*
