people posting for sale threads in the for sale section should fill out their location tag. threads should be locked until the location is filled out.

who cares about that. well i guess you would because you own element, but besides your own conflict of interest, what is the hang up about a newbie signing up to offer members something to buy?

It doesn't matter if they post. It just nobody will buy from them. 1 post, no location, nobody know who the fuck they're, they don't even reply to question sometime, they sell things that won't even fit a Celica.

- shouldn't it be up to the members to decide if they want to buy something?

1.its to prevent sales fraud..just like your location idea

2. nobody is saying people cant sell on here, they just gotta put some time into the site before they can, thus creating more traffic and attracting sponsors as u had suggested

3. i would guesstimate 80% of the post in the for sale section dont get replied to or dont sell their product thus wasting bandwith

if someone challenges my ethics i will get defensive, especially when it was unwarranted and in bad taste
