Feeler: my rims and tires
thinkin about going back to stock rims and puting some money towards my loan with toyota....so i thought id test the waters for my rims and tires....
i have 18x8 OZ Superleggeras with bfg scorcher t/a's 225-40-18's (black in colour) the rims weigh in at 17.6lbs a peice, im not sure what the tires weigh...bit when on can pick up the rim and tire combo with one hand fairly easy offset is 35mm, 5x100 bolt pattern, i have the hubcentric rings too, but no lugs included... i bought them last spring and they have about 25000kms on the them there is still plenty of tread left on the tires currently i think there is only one minor scratch on the paint on the driverside front rim from a stone or something.....otherwise the rims are just about perfect. one rim, however, had a small (maybe 1/8") nick in the lip from the lift arm at the local muffler shop. they paid to have the nick fixed and the rim repainted....it looks as good as new.... the rims new are about 430CAD from tiretrends http://www.tiretrends.com/wheel_cata...p3?wheelID=241 the tires i think were about 200-220CAD new...but i dont think their really available any more... the tires are really great on dry pavement and stick like glue in corners....theyre not anything to write home about in the rain though tire review: http://www.epinions.com/content_82108845700 im looking to get $1400CAD OBO for the rims and tires together id prefer local pickup....but i visit toronto often enough that i could meet up with someone there.....
