FS/FT : 1986 Celica GTS With 3SGTE Swap!

Hey all, I am new to the celica game, been around the MR2 world for a while though :) I recently picked up this celica as sort of a project / impules buy, and want to sell it to make room for more projects and/or the purchase of another vehicle like a Toyota 4x4. Anyway, the car is quite nice / fast and is very reliable. The paint is in the process of bein re-cleared right now, so it will look really good in the next couple days.

It originally had the 2SE NA Motor, but that was swapped out to a 1st gen 3sgte out of an 88 alltrac. The alltrac had about 90k on it, so the motor now has no more than 100k on it. It has a v6 camry 5 speed manual trans, new 3sgte clutch, 3sgte flywheel, v6 camry axles, 5 lug newer celica hubs, cross drilled rotors, supra front mount intercooler (FMIC) 2.5" Downpipe, 3" Exhuast, K&N Intake, Unorthodox Racing CNC aluminum crank pulley, autometer gauges for boost, egt, and a/f, newer ct-26 turbo, fuel cut defencer etc... The boost is running around 13 PSI, and it pulls VERY strong. This car will run mid to high 13's in the quarter mile. Nothing was done wrong or overlooked with this swap, and it was performed by a retired Toyota technician.

All the emmisions stuff is also there, and it will pass emissions undoubtedly. Please understand the amount of time and money that was put into the car. The car is currently being re clearcoated, and the hood is going to be painted in a flat black. The pictures shown are before any of the clearcoat had been applied, and the hood just has some black sandable primer on it.

IMO all this car needs is a LSD trans from an Mr2 Turbo. It does have alot of wheel spin with heave acceleration, I can spin the wheels through 1st and second fairly effortlessly. However the tires on the front are only 205/16's so they are a bit on the skinny side for the power this engine is putting down. The front tires have great tread on them, as do the rears. All four have no less than 85% tread.

I would like to get 3500 OBO for this car, and that is including all my labor and money going towords clear coating it. I am not using a rattle can, I am using PPG Omni AU paints and an HVLP gun. I would trade for a Toyota 4x4, MR2 Or just let me know what you have!

You can respond to the thread or PM / Email me with any questions, and I will get back to you promply!
