1989 Celica GTS -*needs motor

I bought this car a month ago and the engine blew up already. After trying to find a new motor and getting screwed around by some slimey douche bag who tried to sell me a demolished jdm motor, I've decided to give up. I can't throw anymore money at this car. I really really hate to see it go, because I loved this car, but I don't really have much of a choice. So if anyone on here wants to buy this car its in victoria BC. Its in good shape other wise. I just put brand new winter tires on it too which is a real shame . I don't really know what its worth without a motor. Just make me an offer.

its not worth much without a motor unfortunately. I'd try and find a cheap motor and toss her in then sell it.
you can find 5sfe pretty cheap and it would go in without much problem into your GTS

^89 GTS probably 4th gen with 3S-GE.

The car is in Victoria but you are in Nelson?
Is it a hatchback or trunk version?

If your willing to wait until the fall, I should have a 3S-FE engine out of a 87 GT that I will need to get rid of, I was just going to scrap it, but you can have it. You will have to pick it up from Salmon Arm in the interior though

that doesn't mean that a 5sfe wouldnt work. Just do a long block swap like I did with the Camry. 3sfe-5sfe. worked great.

have the engine u pick the price
or u can have the car for 800$
230***km
engine just rebuilt 3000km ago
new clutch at 3000Km
new altornator
selling need money for school. hate to see it go

aww I wish I had have seen this a couple days earlier. I just bought a motor from a wrecker for 800$. Thanks anyways. so Im keeping the car now. this thread can be removed.
