Remapped 90/91 5SFE ECU.

I had this ECU remapped by Jet Performance. www.jetchip.com
I don't need it anymore.
It will ONLY work in a 90/91 GTS auto.

$200 + shipping.

Butt dyno is how it feels to you when you're driving.

I don't know.
I rebuilt my engine and got this in the middle.
It was over a year between start and finish because I got my first Alltrac during.
So by the time I had it running, I was used to my Alltrac.

I don't remember dyno #s, it should be on thier site.

Good ol' DENSO Engine ECU. Sorry totally off topic but I like seeing our old "NP" company logo.

This will run you $400 if you do it yourself.

http://www.jetchip.com/purchase.asp?...478&part=65002

According to Jet, it's a 13-14 hp gain.
Scroll down to Celica.

2 5S-FE ECU for 90-91 Celica. Manual, auto non-ECT is one. Auto ECT is another. ECT control is build into the ECU. They use different plugs. So if the plugs are right, you can use it.

I can't use this one but in your opinion, was it worth the money to get it done?

It wouldn't bolt in.
In 92 Toyota changed a whole bunch of stuff on the 5SFE.
They added a knock sensor and changed the dist wiring most importantly.
If you had your heart set on it, I'm sure you could source a 90/91 harness and mod for your car, but......

There are actually 3 ECUs for the 90/91.
Only the GTS came with auto w/ECT.
So there's manual, auto, and auto w/ECT.

I guess so. $400 is a slight bit steep to me for it honestly.
I had more money then. And didn't know as much. :D
Which is 1 reason I'm selling it for so cheap.
