downpipe, look into something ceramic coated because of the amount of heat in that area and the heatsheild is not usually mounted back

I wanted to get the cobb access ecu... I like the idea of being able to switch maps, as far as I know, there is a boost gauge, but it doesn't have manual boost control... plus the access tuner is coming out for it which will allow u to dyno tune it specifially for your car if u wanted to go that far

for cat-back exhaust, i like the sound of the tanabe (arnel has it) but it may be on the loud side, I also like the borla hush... i don't know how well it flows though

don't get a bov until you get your mods, cause the engine may idle all weird and shit, but if u do get one get something that's adjustable and not 100% atmospheric

from what i've read the (stock wrx) doesn't need a turbo timer, but of course it can't hurt to have one

arnel has hands on experience, all my knowledge comes from surfing so he may be able to help you out better

I def. want to start with up and down pipes as my first mod, probably will have them installed at the same time. I may just leave it with that, to keep it quite...wagons have more drone than the sedans apparently. I think the gains found in wrx exhausts are from deleting the cats and having a bigger pipe 2.5" or 3".

I highly recommend the borla hush (catback), it's about as quiet as the stock exhaust (with stock cats in place) and it mates to the stock piping

If I were to get a aftermarket cat back it would be the borla hush. I would rather do the up and down pipes before the exhaust though
