anyone watch it? *was on a while ago, what do you guys think of the chip foose design?

i think the design is good but not very "tuner"

the car looks very nice from far

but as you go close you see the things that make it just another "nopi" car... the wheels are waaaay too big, the interior looks cheap, paint (while very nice) is just way too much for a civic

all in all i think its nice, just misguided

yeah i agree with u, as good as chip is I don't think he's right for tuner cars.

Look up some of the cars which one the awards (such as "grandmaster")
and you will see his quality and attention to detail...

Frank I know that he has a lot under his belt. That is not what I meant. I PERSONALLY don't think his design work is that appealing. Most of the rims that he's made, that everyone drools over because they're "FOOSE RIMS", look like shit.

it's a good show... but foose isn't an "import" guy...

yeah i agree with martin. I havent seen manyg ood imports from him. Really good muscle and classic cars. HIs lines are really bold and straight and not wild enough for imports.

no, he's done alot... he was enve involved in some of the toyota/lexus projects in the last few years....

my favorite was the is430 paint job (rhys millen only did the swap and they did a shit job)

i have been told that he was also responsible for alot on some production domestics including the newest stang and the t bird... AND intresting fact, the show titus was often using foose's drawings and they went to him for creative direction for titus's job as a designer
