I have had it painted for about a year now, but just haven't gotten around to taking pictures of it lol so here it is

I am planning on changing the climate control panel to green and painting the knobs blue to make it more consistent

It looks really good Junk! Is blue and green your color scheme for the car?

If you like it thats all that matters. Painting interior trim is wrong in my opinion... plus when you go to sell it that will destroy your resale value unless your selling to a 16 year old

well I don't plan on selling it unless it's totaled so I don't really care about resale value

and to idrive... my car is spectra blue mica so I just felt that it fit, since I love the combo blue and green, but I ultimately plan on getting my car painted black and doing my interior red with black trim... and my dash doesn't put yours to shame you just have to finish it lol

yeah I got model model paint... it's tamya if I remember correctly I don't remember the paint code but it is metallic blue

What kind of model paint? Like with a paintbrush? I noticed the detail on the climate control knobs.

I just got some plastic krylon spray-paint from walmart. A lot of sanding and a lot of coats or paint later...

the dash components are spray paint and the knobs are brushed... I would have gotten krylon but they didn't have the metallic colors I wanted it would have been a hell of alot cheaper the crap I got was 9 bucks for a little tiny spray can and it took 4 cans to paint it all ( 1 blue, 2 green and 1 clear)

does look nice junk. only part that I have painted is the bezel aroung my gauges.

You clear-coated yours? Is that a good thing to do? I'm not questioning why you did, I'm wondering if I should do the same??

i clear coat everything i paint. it helps with brightness and is added layer of protection

it makes it more glossy too... well depending on if you get glossy, or semi-gloss clear coat

Re: figured I would post pics of my dash does look nice junk. only part that I have painted is the bezel aroung my gauges. __________________ mods: modified factory airbox, k&n panel filter, removed back seat, stg 2 clutch, c-one style frp high rise wide bulge scoop, pure white driving, highs, and fogs, 6" stubby antenna, filled in rear lp valance black housing head and tail lights, de-badged, adjustable coilovers(2-2.5 drop) after market center mount fog lights. need to do: mount hood diffusers, re-do axle back "keep racing on the track and off the roads" 0-60: top of 2nd gear
