Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
Sigh. I know. But bigger wheels need to come first. I'm hoping to have them on before fall.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
I thought the whole thing was to decrease the space between the wheel-well and the tire? It has 16" now, I'm only going with 17".
How many inches is the typical amount to lower a celica?

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
I don't want to have to go diagonally over speed-bumps. I already crawl over them as it is. But I want very little room between tire and wheel well. I don't think I can achieve both w/o putting huge wheels/tires on it.
Maybe i could lower it an inch, then put 17" or even 18" wheels on it?? I dunno if 18" would just be too big and look a little pimped (lord knows i don't want that)? See I don't want to do trial and error with this. I'm not made of money, so I need to figure out my dimensions beforehand.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
Personaly. I would try lowering it first. Then see what size rims will fit. I had a set of 17's on my celi. But it changed the ride height back to normal. And they were tucked into my wheel well.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
A nice little drop will help to set the car off. If your concerned about it it being to low just go with the pro kit which is about an inch drop

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
I took it through the car wash and then brought it home and went over the whole thing with a shammy and did the wheels and trim pieces and windows and such with all my car cleaning supplies. I don't have a hose at home yet.
And yeah, i was kinda digging the awesome ricer-looking white and brown "graphics" going down the side of mine from when I slid off the road into my neighbors front yard and got stuck... ![]()

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
A. The car looks great, would be even better with a drop. Like Locker said, an inch drop would be subtle but make all the difference.
B. Before anyone else jumps in, laughing their ass off at the Tornado, let me let you know that they are a scam, and a waste of money. C. I did giggle while writing this post. Then I laughed because I don't normally read sigs. Then I laughed some more, because I would laugh at you if you were a guy, equal treatment and all. Then I laughed some more, because technically, a penquins wings are really flippers and are quite useful. Then I laughed even more, because I'm an asshole.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
Fry. Tornado's make a vortex/swirl pattern of air supposeably its suppose to increase mpg. I don't agree but ehh its a product.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
Yeah, i didn't buy it. it was already installed when i bought the car. But i really don't think it works. I get the same mpg that i got in my GT.
JR, the penguin thing... cuz penguins have wings, but they can't fly... i'm sure you're smart enough to know that tho lol.

Re: Finally got some bad-ass pics of my Celi
I disagree with penguins that can't fly.
![]() I knew this guy once who had a huge ass picnik table wing on his car, everyone said his car wouldn't fly but after a night of drinking and then driving, it flew just fine.... right into someones living room.. what an idiot.. oh wait that was me in my evo3.. fail ![]()
