Re: After a good cleaning
thanks guys, The rims were painted by myself and a friend, after being quoted 200 and up just for one rim we decided that we would try the duplicolour stuff, the result was great I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to paint their rims
ive really had to be patient with this car, its taken a lot a cash and hard work just to get some of the parts i have for it, The plan is for the car to go into the shop for paint and body work in July but before then im seriously considering lowering on KYB gr2 and Sportlines, than after the lowering I will finally pick up the spacers for the front and back ( the back is way too sunk right now) and after paint im going to source out an aeromagic front lip or make my own and the car will finally be finished But on a side note im looking for a spare drivers seat with the electronic lumbar with rails if anyone has one itd be much appreciated

I've actually done the dual power lumbar a few times. Its not the hardest thing to do but you will need to set aside some time. Basically all you need is a spare drivers seat and an extra Lumbar switch. What I did was remove all the hog ties from the seat and you'll find the skeleton of the seat with the lumbar wire up in there. simply remove the skeleton from your current passenger seat and and put it all back together. I installed my drivers lumbar switch just to the left of the shifter and put the passenger side switch in the stock Drivers location. Colin has my leathers with them intalled. Not sure if he has the passenger seat wired up yet though. One of the sillyest mods I did to my car but also one that left me feeling quite proud. Yes my 91 has dual power lumbar :D

Re: After a good cleaning
hmm if its been done before then i think i will persue the idea, but my original thought was to splice the wires from the passenger seat into the exisiting drivers seat so when i tighten the grip of the drivers seat the passenger feels it too,
so all i have to do is take the guts from the extra seat and put it into my existing seat? And the rims were bought online from some guy in Kitchener, i think the brand is HP racing or something but the condition they were purchased in was terrible, the faces had deep scratches and small pieces of metal missing but after a lot of sanding and careful prep before paint i think they turned out really good.
