teaser pic..

due to some pretty cold weather this week things didnt turn out as planned. still need two places that have to be resprayed, by dash has to be re-dyed and then she will be good to go. and this time my car is lowered. :D so i thought i would tempt you all with just one photo for now...

obviously I'm not up to rice cakes on 7th gen

but I fail to see whats different... maybe its right there infront of me but to me it looks like a generic Celica w/ spoiler and maybe skirted...

wrecked the old one and bought a new one and swapped everything from my old car to this car you see now!

me and my dad have done all the work...

TRD Tsunami Front Bumper
TRD Sides and Rear
Raised hood scoop
3rd brakelight cover
98 supra side markers
black headlights
falken springs-1.6" drop all around
falken cai
ansa silverline exhaust(if i can get it fixed...it got dinged up in my wreck)
trd shift knob
glow gauges
then i had my gray interior dyed black.
riding on the stock 16s for now..im saving for some nice 18s!

I didn't realize it was you and your dad doing the work this whole time! Props on the work.

the teaser looks quite good I can't wait to see the finish product.

Out of curiosity how much did the reconstruction cost? Did insurance cover all of it + some pocket change or did you do some out of pocket work?

nope got nothing from insurance..the woman that ran me off the road didnt bother to stop and my dad figured it would be easier to buy another one instead of turning it into the insurance. so we bought the shell for 1500 with all the burnt crap in it and everything and just used my motor/tranny and interior from my wrecked celica and swapped things over.

Ahhh OK it all makes sense now...I saw pics of a burnt celi and a half totalled one and never put 2 and 2 together. Probably didn't read the post. Great work you must be pround of the finished product
