Freshly Zainoed GT
Gotta love Zaino. Amazing shine out of a 5 year old car. The Z5 really made a difference in the existing swirls. The claybar took all sorts of junk out of the paint.

That is really shinny and colour is quite vibrant for a 5 year old celica. Just goes to show if you look after the coachwork it should stay nice for longer
Whats the quality of the paint like in Canada, over here the water based paint they have used on our gen 7's is very poor, marks too easily :(.

I know nothing about waxing and zaino and all that...care to do a short lil write up on how to do/use these products effectively? and exactly what products to use?
Never used a clay bar before and only waxed a few times. I usually just do the normal old wash and dry. By the way it looks great! which is why i ask.

Well first I washed it with dish soap to remove the wax the dealer/previous owner had on.
Then I put a little car wash and water in a spray bottle to use as lube for the claybar. Just run the clay over the paint and you feel it picking up the contaminants. You'll be left with a very smooth surface. Then you wash again with your car wash to clean up the carwash you used as lube. Then I applied Z5 with ZFX. Run it in straight lines, not wax on/wax off circles. It's a synthetic you can run right over lights or trim work and it will come right off like it was on paint. Then you give it about 20 minutes to dry then you buff it off with a towel. Can find the products and more detailed instructions on their website www.zainostore.com |
