Celica slammed on teins (56K beware)
no more sneek peek... here's the real deal :D sorry for the sub-par pix.. i did 30 pix in 30 mins lol... was getting hungry, but i hope u guys enjoy it... here's my suspension setup:
1. tein s-tech springs for 94-99 celicas 2. KYB GR-2 shocks for 90-93 celicas 3. KYB strut boots with integrated bumpstops springs are supposed to lower the car 1.3", but i think it's more... anyways, it's still driveable... springs are kinda harsh too.. i can still feel bumps on the road, but not as bad as before.... comments would be appreciated :) 1. 2. 3. sooooo sexy :D 4. 5. 6. |

Re: Celica slammed on teins (56K beware)
I recently installed kyb gr-2s with ground control coilovers and had the same drop as yours.
I could hear and feel all sorts of "thunks" and "bumps". It looked sick but the kybs couldn't handle it so its been lifted back again. I think its better to spend more for Konis.

+1 Stunning pic, looks brand new, just out of the showroom look so to speak. Whatever camera you have got certainly takes nice pictures.

nahh... no fancy camera here... just a point and shoot and a tripod as for the shoot site, it's literally my backyard i always wanted to shoot my accord htere, but i would scrape like crazy at the entrance the celica made it tho still_stoned: yes, the shocks can't really handle the drop very well.... i wasn't expecting such a big drop cos it was stated as 1.3" for the 6th gen celica.... a lil harsh in the front, but nothing too bad.. at least it feels better than my old shocks..... wouldn't even come up again after compressing it |
