Really Low 5th Gen?

Anyone have pictures of a really low 5th gen??
i once saw a picture locker posted with one tucking stock 14's in the back, i dont know if it was fake or what but i was just wondering if people had pics of really low ones if they could post them, and what suspension theyre using, thanks.

that was my old celica with stock struts and coilovers without the perches... about a 4 inch drop

Fred the red one is the one with no struts or springs? haha looks sweet at that height... if only it could be driven like that...

Just a question since people are talking about low 5th gens.

Mine is sitting on KYB GR2s with coilovers. To give you an idea of the drop, there is room to poke a finger or MAYBE a finger and a half between the tires and the fenders/wheel wells.
I sometimes hear a THUNK sound from the front shocks after going through a bump or uneven road.
Does that mean that the shocks are taking way too much pressure than intended and are really taking the beating?
Maybe people who have slammed their cars can shed some light on this matter!

yes... it means that you are blowing your struts... that thunk is you struts dying

If your struts are completely blown. How much lower will it lower your car?

if more than a finger and a half .... still stoned u should consider checking for grease coming from a blown strut.

gap has nothing to do with it Dale. your set up will dictate that.

My struts are not blown YET, its only been 2 days since I installed brand new GR2s. I just wanted to check how much they can handle. Apparently they can't handle the drop I'd like.
O well, I'll pull up the coils and thats that!

yeah... my old celica did the same... you'll raise it then put it back down as you'll think it look much better on the ground

The thunk is the strut hitting top mount. I had about 1" front strut travel on my Corolla with coilover. Not enough at all.
