Rookie saying hi

Hey guys n gals. My primary project and daily driver is off the road until a legal dispute with the dealer is settled, so I needed another car to get to work. I bought a beater 1988 Celica GT, the thing is in bad shape, but modifying is in my blood now thanks to the other car and I already want to get started... lol. The only difference the Celica will be opposite of my money pit Rio. I am going to try and get the Celica back up to snuff and than slightly improved on a shoestring budget using parts I fabricate, or wrecker pieces. I am curious how much I can improve handling and power without the outlays I invested in the Rio. It will be a fun experiment to pass the time with until I get my baby back.
