Hi Everybody!
Hey everyone!
I'd prefer to be referred to as Angel, if only for the anonymity I enjoy through the internet. About a month ago, I bought a 2002 Carbon Blue GT (that's the color that looks black until you look at it closely, right?) which until about two weeks ago, when I gave it its first bath, I thought was black. It's comfortably loaded, alloy wheels with an aftermarket sunroof and a K&N filter, otherwise bone-virgin-stock. I was a Honda driver until I totaled my third Honda product, a 98 4dr Civic. What sucked is that the other car was a Jetta, and his bumper was basically scratched, but both of my airbags deployed and basically totaled my car. I was sorta tired of the cheap, econocar feel of Hondas, and the constant need to rev. Also, my boyfriend is a Nissan fanatic, and every one of his cars has been nicer, faster, and infinitely more fun than any of my Hondas. So I took the insurance money and put a healthy down payment on my Celica, and I'm so freaking in love with the car it's sad. My main plans for the car are short-ram intake and a catback exhaust, and either a serious front brake upgrade or a rear-disc swap. I'm trying to find an economical but quick and easy way to do the swap, as I cannot have my car down for longer than like, a day. Although if someone knows of a complete kit let me know, I'd rather have ease-of-use than cheap. But I plan on keeping the appearance of my car fairly stock, sorta unassuming, I get enough ricers trying to race me as it is. I am going to install a sound system in my car, if only because I spend way too much time in it. That's pretty much it. My Celica is tiding me over until I'm able to afford a 350Z Roadster, which should be in about 5-6 years. I'll keep the Celica, but I'm saving my money for the Z (and my student loans.) I'm from Atlanta, native Georgian, hi to everyone. Thanks for the forum, I think I've said enough.... |

nice. welcome to the site, lots of new members these days. Anyway u can get a rear brake conversion of the GT-S celica (maybe check a junk yard?) if u want. It's a great time to have a celica right now, because gas prices are though the roof and that car is amazing on mileage.

welcome to the site.
I'd leave the brakes personally (unless you are planning some track days or something of the like)...if so, I'd just upgrade the front brakes. Rear disc conversion will look nice, but is a bit of a hassle (time-wise and financially), and you are saving for another sportier car anyway.
