Newbie Questions...
Hey all, be gentle with me..I'm new to the Celica.
I just picked up a used 1990 Celica GT (at least that's the rear label), hatchback. It has 183,000 miles on it. Had to replace the stereo as the pioneer the previous owner had in it was missing the face plate..hooked it all up but on the tweeters are working, suspect that the prev owner had an amp in at one time and redid the speaker wiring. Project one..get stereo working..have and amp and speakes from another car..so that's this weekend. How hard is it to install body kits and fenders. Am pretty mechanically inclined but never did major body panel replacements..is it a DIY or should I pay to have it done...prefer to do it myself and save the money for a good paint job. But if it's better to have it done, then so be it. I take it from what I've read here that a 1990 is considered a Gen5 car? I do have a shop manual and chiltons manual on the way. Any other tips and tricks would be welcome!!!!

That's cool...that's my actual nic anyways....have to throw the GA on in most places as somebody has ususally already taken the nic online. It was my security team's call sign in the navy, that I was in charge of..so I was Wolf1 "actual".
Any help will be appreciated. I see a lot of potential in this sled. Gonna be a time/fundage driven project. But I'd rather put the money into her than into a car payment.
