Re: New to forum!
welcome to celispeed blueeyes. as the previous post said, check out monkey wrench racing, they have a fairly good selection of performance parts.

Re: New to forum!
welcome to celispeed. you will find this forum to be verry performance driven. IMO tho. dont waste your money on a intake if your just going to go turbo. your gonna need to change all the intake piping anyways.

Re: New to forum!
which without an ecu for lift, would be pointless.

Re: New to forum!
turbo's and superchargers just different ways of forcing air into the intake mani.
Really comes down to preference. A supercharger is belt driven so as soon as you put your foot down your supercharger is forcing air A turbo on the other hand uses exhaust gas to build pressure so it you'll have lag. (for instance your B/F car I'm sure you've notice once he hits about 3500+ RPM the car is a different animal) Thats when the turbo kicks in and produces power. Turbo's are nice as in normal driving your not really using it so you get better gas millage. I've never owned a supercharged car before so my opinion is biassed

Re: New to forum!
I knew that. lol. i mean for the cars sake. i know turbo isnt that great for my car because of the higher compression i can only run low boost. & it i want more boost id have to do some internals to make it stronger. i really just want the one that would produce the best results & not hurt my car.

Re: New to forum!
Well both produce boost so both are hard on the motor. IMO its really just personal preference

Re: New to forum!
if you plan on building a engine later i would go with the turbo cause you can increase boost later. s/c is good for someone looing for extra power but not going for all out power, they are nice in the fact that they work faster then a turbo. turbo though doesnt take power to make power though, but you can get the craving for more power and turn up the boost to much if you use a boost controller and grenade your engine. i wanna go turbo cause of power goals but i would go either one if your dont want very large hp numbers. one benefit of the s/c is one of the kits comes with the ecu tuned i believe and that saves on dyno time. and there is no exhaust mods necessary.
