The new guy with the silver Celica.

Hey everyone. I'm Tech-Nics from Long Island, NY. I found this site from "Google". I've been a member of 6gc.net since mid 2008 when I got my 6th gen. I formally had a 97 Honda Accord LX coupe (CD7) with SiR (CD

parts exterior and interior. Then I sold it cause it was a cop magnet and got pulled over almost 2x every 2 weeks for being to low to too dark tints...etc. After selling it I got originally gonna get a 94+ Integra but fell in love with the 6th gen Celica. Here are some pretty recent pictures.

Okay, first of all, welcome to Celispeed. Your car looks clean. No rust, sweet. Nice wing and roof spoiler - tastefully done.

Are you gelin' with those mud flaps or what? I don't believe those are OEM on the '94; but correct me if I am wrong. I don't usually criticize but holy man, those are quite the mod. Are you a guy or a girl? Way to be representin' the City That Never Sleeps. - NOT!

I know what your probably thinking: 'WTF, dude, you got mudflaps on your white 1990, John.' Yeah, true, but mine are so understated and yours are so conspicuous.

If I bought your car, those mud flaps would be gone in a 'New York minute', pardon the pun.

But yeah, bro, hey if you like 'em, I guess that's all that matters.:

Umm...OK...Thanks for the compliment regarding the work I have done. Now that spoiler you for some reason call a "shopping car handle" is an authentic Celica SS-III spoiler which is identical to the 6th gen Celica GT-Four spoiler except it doesn't have the "GT-Four" logo engraved in the ABS. They usually say SS-III which these blocks didn't come with. If you do a search on "Google" or whatever you search with & use the keyword "Celica GT-4 or how ever you want. You will soon notice that 97% of all the pictures you will see will have the same exact "shopping card spoiler" as you call it. Funny you was able to tell that I did a full GT-Four front end conversion but what lost me was you didn't understand the spoiler?

^^^Very interesting. Now I'm sure you are some what familiar a little about the WRC Celica. Believe it or not the 4th, 5th & 6th gen Rally Celica's had these mudflaps. Yes I really love the way they look and quite funny that you are the first one out of hundreds (over exaggerated #'s) of compliments I have received regarding my mud flaps to be negative. Which is fine with me really. I'm the only person on this side of NY with this type of Celica so it really suits my needs quite well. I'm sure you are very happy with your 90 Celica ST looking the way it does. Honestly if I had your car I would sell it in how you said "New York minuet"...

Oh BTW thanks for the positive compliments regarding the rest of my car. Yes I put a lot of my hard earned "New York" money into it. It turns heads everywhere I go. Actually one of the more popular car at the local county car shows we have out here every summer. I guess cause I'm the only Celica like this out here.

welcome to celispeed, she looks nice. diggin the gt4 rally clone style you have going on, all it needs to take it further cosmetically speaking, is the light cluster pod on the front.

Junk thos are gt4 blocks. They came standard on the gt4 lol. I almost thought it was a gt4 till I say he said its a gt witch eliminates the gt4 lol. Tech don't mind some of us were kinda performance minded here. But what motor mods do you got. If your motors as nice as the body. Ill be highly impressed but good job.
