Re: First Celi

Just made a heat shield/wind tunnel thing for the air intake. got to wrap it in heat shield tape but it looks really neat. Made it out of air duct parts. Real ghetto looking but seems to get cold air to the air intake

Re: First Celi

ha yeah. i wanted a heat shield for the air filter and using air duct was cheaper than making one alot easier to put in.

Re: First Celi

Interesting thread........

Ohhhhhhhhhh, so that's why my Celi is so fast. No extra weight of the AC to slow me down. He he he.

Interesting video. Just hate to get stuck somewhere without a spare or a jack.

Bonus on that heat sheild/wind tunnel thing for the air intake - light weight alluminum heating ducts FTW!

Thanx too bad the heat shield is going to cost more than it did for the heating duct. i only paid $12 for it and the heat shield is $20 for 15 feet. but a cold box/heat guard for under $40 can't beat it

Re: First Celi

if you could work with it and get it to fit better then i dont think it would be that bad. you could even paint it with a ceramic paint which will help with temp too.

yeah i know its pretty ugly. Was going to wrap it in Heat Shield tape and maybe get another piece of duct and run all the way to the injectors so all the air intake looks the same. I think i'm going to drill some holes in the metal behind the head light to let more air in and maybe more the over flow to the other side of the car will help it fit better. i find that i am getting a little bit of better response at higher rpms then i was
