trading my car

i'm new to the celica thing. realllyyy new
i'm trading in my altima coupe for a celica sometime soon , (within the month) and just wanna know couple of things before i make my final decision.
i drive around the city alot, lots of stop and go traffic and stuff and my stick shift skills arent as good as they should be right now. should i suck it up and get a manual or stick wt auto.

and wats the main diff between GT and GT-S?

gt's came with the 1.8lt 1zzfe 140 HP and 125 torque the gts came with the 2ssge 1.8lt 180hp 130 torque. thats if your lookin at the 7th gen that im assuming that you are.

hey does anybody know what kind of gas mileage a stock GT-s gets? obviuosly it depends on what iROCK wnats to do with it, but gas mileage may swing his vote one way or another. i no my car got around 32 highway stock...

on a regular basis I get between 29 and 32 MPG but I drive it pretty hard

but just because it's a DD doesn't mean he doesn't want to have the occasional fun with it I would say GT-s just because lift is amazing

thanks for the help guys , and not sure wat i wanna do wt it yet. i know i wanna do some body work and maybe some engine work but not too much. not looking to race it or anything but deff wanna mess around wt it.
the altima coupe is kinda boring - thats basically why i wanna get rid of it, and ive been wantin a celica for like over a yr now. (7th gen)

get a gts, you can always drive more conservatively to save gas but you cant drive any better out run your REGRET. The last thing you want to do is get a slower car and feel have that feeling 'shit i should have spent that little extra cash on the higher model...' do not get an automatic gts, get a stick and just learn to drive it, you will regret getting an auto gts, if your going auto then stick with a gt, plus wen you want to sell it later it will be tougher.. not many people want an auto sports car.
