Hi I am new!
Hi everyone- my name is Christy and I am from Blue Springs, MO and just purchased (3 weeks ago) a 2003 Celica GTS which is the dark blue (looks black in most light). It is gorgeous and I am lovin it! It is my first toyota- I have been a pontiac person for the past 4 and a half years, and fell in love with the Celica when searching for a new, sporty, dependable car that would be cheap on gas. I was very specific in seeking a car with less than 20k miles, making sure it had a sunroof, was the manual (I've never had one till now), and had the action package. There were none around me, so I did an advance search on auto trader and found my match in North Carolina. The dealer was great and stuck with me, "keeping the buzzards off my car" as I struggled through the loan process. This was my first car purchase, all by myself, requiring a loan, so as you can probably imagine, I was turned down a lot. Finally, after two weeks of struggling, I found a loan through Lending Tree and made arrangements for pickup of my car. The dealer ended up paying for plane tickets, and I went up, got the car, and drove it back. It has been eye catching and a total dream car ever since getting in 15 hours home.
I plan on adding euro taillights and possibly some other light modifications. So far, I have had the windows tinted (5% back and 20% front) had my stereo and rockford 12" subs installed :D and tonight I hit a storm drain...........GRRRRRR.  Just when I was getting it to the point I like it, I hit a stupid drain- now my passenger side front ground effect needs to be sanded and repainted- I cried for like 2 hours  , then realized, hey, I didn't break anything- this will be pretty simple to fix. We will see- I'm going to get some quotes this weekend or next week sometime. I f anyone has any tips, feel free to post or e-mail them to me! Thanks- and I hope to talk soon! |

UGGG how do you post pictures on this thing? I know someone knows because there are pics all over the place............ Also how do you get avators? Someone help me- I feel so silly not knowing how!

Ive only seen a hand full of Carbon Blue ( I just learned the color of your/our car in the newbie form) id liked to see your pics too, mine is in the shop getting lowered, and the new rims are coming monday, so ill have some pics posted soon.
