Raising the Dead
I'm Alvos. I think I'm a Ninja and I know I'm a fool. I have a 1990 GT-S. I'm bringing it back to life. When I have too much coffee I write in short bursts.
*runs 2 miles* Ok, now that I can formulate something requiring more than a half-second of forethought... I have a stock GT-S that I bought for $1400, formerly a salvage title. At the time of purchase, it was a toss-up between a practically totaled '88 Supra ($1000) with all four corners dented (not to mention countless man hours worth of electrical rewiring) and a Celica with a busted front/passenger-side wheel and a horrible power-steering leak caused be a lacerated high-pressure line. I passed on the Supra mainly because it was an Automatic. The other option was a Ford Probe (5-spd Manual), but I grew up surrounded by disappoi---....err....."Fords" (really, just American cars in general for that sake)....so it had to be a Toyota or a Honda. To this date, the Celica has around 275,000 miles on it and it's still running strong. When I have some $$ to throw around, I'm going to make it better than new. Aside from my Celica, I build/design computer systems and study various martial arts...that's pretty much it, sad to say...
