3sfe is an ecconomy engine, 3sge is a better flowing head

Yes. GE got different valve cover due to 2 cam pulley instead of one on FE head. Also GE got TVIS, different intake manifold.
BTW I have a 3S-FE head seating in my garage.

but the 3sfe didn't come in the 90-93 celica, it came out of a 86-89 celica

He did not say that in this post, I'm going by the picture, and the 5th Gen 3S-GE did not have T-VIS it had ACIS.

T-VIS stands for "Toyota-Variable Induction System its was a way of directing air flow in the intake manifold in older cars it would help with low end power, because it would speed up the flow of the air.

ACIS stands for "Acoustic Control Induction System" it is used to boost low end torque and provide quicker acceleration

Both came on the 3sge model engines just two ways of boosting low end power. New cars don't need this due to improvements in the design of intake manifolds

It has cold injector, so not late gen engine.

It a good thing you have a running engine.
The photo you show is a 3S-FE. Less power then the 3S-GE.
