new to celica's

hello all my name is danny i drive an '86.5 toyota supra A/T N/A.. it's basically stock besides NGK iridium plugs and wires. I joined this site cause my brother devin who has no internet needed some info on his newly acquired '89 gts. so i just wanted to introduce myself. I'll be on from time to time to ask questions, unfortunatley not answer to many cause im new to celicas... but i did notice supras and celicas very similar :D so you never know. I did have a quick question though.. how come almost everyone i see posting on here doesnt even have a celica? lol, i see every other car you can imagine, trucks, g35's, mr2's, honda coup's... just curious.

Re: new to celica's

We all owned celica's at one point or another and just stuck around cause its a good community. There are a lot of celica owners on the board and the rest of us are at least good sources of info on them

Re: new to celica's

welcome, and the reason that supra's and celica's are the same is probably because the first models were called supra celica's and then the celica spawned from that

Actually the celica has been around since 1972. The first Supra was a celica - supra and it became its own car after the model change
