Ideas for starting a meetup??

OK, so you might have heard me ranting about how there are NO MEETS NEAR ME!!! so anyone have any ideas as to how to gather up the plethora of Celica drivers in my city?

i'm suffering from the same thing myself.

so hows that tornado working out for you, after a 2 month trial, I didnt see of feel any difference. now I THINK I have it placed in my axle back to create a vortex, to help reduce turbulance in the pipe, and ease in flow. also to disrupt any chance of it shittin a flame.

I don't really know. It was on the car when I bought it. I didn't even know about it until the mechanic dude looked under the hood and said "oh, you have a tornado" and i was like wtf is that? I'm getting about 29mph combination driving (and driving like an ass and speeding around everywhere)...

It would be awsome to have one major meet somewhere that all of us could goto. Hell I still need to get my celi up and running lol. Tornados are a waste. Imo lol.

We need to set up a Celispeed meet. But it's looking like we'd only have maybe twenty or thirty ppl, so traveling across the country might be a bit pointless.

I searched eHow.com and came up with a few ideas and how-to's to get a car club or meet started. I'm gonna go to a few club meets for my friends cars to see how things are run and such. I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

hell when I was in Iraq, me and a few of the guys that I worked with talked about starting one, we had the name and by-laws already laid out and planned, then once we got back, and I got out it was like "oh hey, hows it goin."

All right, ak, you can drive a couple hours south, and jon, you can drive a couple hours north, and that'll put you both about where I am. I think. I dunno where reading is. I lived in Chambersburg for a while tho.

damnit I want to go to a meet but I also don't want to put 3000 more miles on my car.... although if it is this summer then I may be more willing to go on a weeklong or so driving trip if some of you are willing to supply a warm place to sleep

thats a 283 mile drive for me. google says that it would be about a 4 hour and 50 min drive. .........yeah right. take about an hour off of that.
