Run Of The Ogopogo - Vernon, BC Aug 7,8,9 (PacNW invited too!)

Hi All,

You might know me from celicatech, alltrac.net, or otherwise. I'd like to invite the crew from celica-gts to a meet in Vernon, BC, Canada this summer! This is for anyone in the NW states or Western Canada.

It's a 3 day meet, Friday through Sunday. Most will drive up mid-day Friday, however you are welcome to come when you are able. If you're looking to see some of the finest Celica's in this part of the world, this is the place to be! There will be every model of GT4 produced in attendance, including 3-4 ST205's!

A full itinerary will be released soon, however here are the general plans:

Friday, August 7th
4-9pm: Downtown car show and side walk sale (this show is free), evening dinner pre-booked

Saturday, August 8th
Cruise with scheduled photo ops at scenic locations. Lunch at a local okanagan winery, and a big BBQ for dinner on the beach. It will be an action packed day.

Sunday, August 9th
The main car show ending at 3pm, for those that are interested. $25 per car to enter, $20 per car if you register before July 1st. Most will depart for home on this day.

Here are some of my pics from the meet in 2007: http://picasaweb.google.com/chris.dittrick...k/Vernon200702#

If you're interested, I post up with your location and email address so that I can send out updates and info packages.

Re: Run Of The Ogopogo - Vernon, BC Aug 7,8,9 (PacNW invited too!)

There are two things that we need to pre-pay for. One is the T-Shirts, so that we can pre-order them and have them ready for pickup at the meet. The second is a special lunch at the Quail's Gate Winery.

Payment is due June 20 at the latest.

T-Shirts

Okay, thanks to RyanD, we now have the design complete and our T-shirt vendor set up!

Large logo on back, small one on front:

The vendors who are sponsoring the event will also have their logos on the back of the Tees. The shirts are a very high quality material and are professionally printed.

Colour will be black only.

Sizing: Here is a quick picture for sizing only. These are the same shirt with a different logo. From left to right, they are wearing: XL, L, M, M

Quail's Gate Lunch

Since we are visiting the beautiful okanagan in the heart of wine country, we will have the option to eat at one of the popular winery's bistro for lunch on saturday: Quail's Gate. This is a gorgeous location and will be a great experience to remember this event.

The first 20 people to pre-pay for this will get in as space is limited. The rest of the group can go to a number of other choices, including the Freddie's Brewpub microbrewery.

This will be our Saturday Lunch in Kelowna. The summer menu is not yet available.

Quail's Gate requires that payment come from one credit card only, so for this reason, we have to get pre-payment from people to confirm the reservation. You will pay me, and I will pay for the group on the day.

This will include meal costs only, as I will not accept payment for alcoholic beverages in advance. Drinks will be seperate. Your payment today also includes gratuity and will be $27 per person.

I will close this option as soon as I receive pre-payment for 20. This is first come, first serve.

Pre-Paid: 16 / 20 available

Payment & Costs:

T-Shirt only: $23 (canadian) per t-shirt
Quail's Gate Lunch: $27 (canadian) per person

eg: 1 T-Shirt & Quails Gate Lunch for 1 = $50 (canadian)

If you would like additional T-shirts or are bringing a guest, add $23 per T and $27 per person for lunch.

Send paypal payment to: chris_dittrick@yahoo.ca

In your paypal note, include the following:

Username & real name:
Shirt Size(s):
Forum: (eg. celicatech, alltrac.net)
Choices selected: (eg. 2 t-shirts, lunch for 1)

If you do not have paypal, email me or send me a PM and we can arrange something else.

Please post your information here also for me to track. Thanks guys!

BTW - dont forget to book your hotels!

Some house keeping things:

Go-Kart Info

$20 per person, payable at the gokart track. Print out waiver and complete in advance if you can, will speed things up.

Waiver: http://www.westsidegokarts.com/WAIVER.pdf

Friday Night Show

If you want to enter, you will have to be in Vernon extra early by 3:00. There is no cost to entering the show. The people coming from greater distances per the itinerary (ie. Vancouver and Calgary) are not planning to enter the show - however will walk down to catch the action. :)
