AZ Weekly/Bi-weekly Toyota Meet

When: Saturday, April 26th - Time: 10AM

I am trying to see how much interest there is to get a Monthly Toyota Meet started here in the PHX area.

We would be meeting on the last Saturday night of each month at around 6PM. The place where we'll meet will be decided when enough people show interest.

I would like to get as many Toyota owners to attend as possible. It will be a way for us all to get to know each other and check out other Toyota models. This is also including all Scion owners and all Lexus owners!!

*UPDATE* Tucson Quarterly Meet has been suspended til next quarter.

We will still be holding a PHX area meet on the same date. Time and place have not been decided just yet.

*The plan will be to meet at GearHead Garage for their dyno day. After that we can grab some grub, then head out for a cruise to SpeedWorld for some saturday night racing.

Well we did have an initial get together meet last night just to see how many people were interested.
The turnout was better than expected!! We had a bunch of people there this time. There were 4 or 5 celicas, a couple mr2's, a corolla, 350z, civic hatch. Good turnout!!

We didn't really have time to talk about the next meet or really anything about setting something up again. So, we'll have to all get together again soon to figure something out!!

Well, our next meet has been scheduled for Saturday, March 29th. We will be meeting at the Tempe Towne Lake at 6PM.

Alright I have a small Update that I just found out about.

*UPDATE* There will be a car show/ race event open to all cars at Firebird Raceway being held the same day as our meet. Yourclubs.net | Home

If anyone is interested in entering your vehicle in the show and/or races post it up here. If we get a group of 5 or more, then pre-reg is only $25.

Just so there's no confusion, this event will have no effect on our meet. We will still meet up at Tempe Towne Lake at 6PM.

How many of you would be interested in rotating our meets between PHX and Tucson?? Reason I ask is that I have a few Toyota owners who would like to have it rotate so that its more even.

I for one would love to have a meet outside the PHX area! We could all meet up somewhere and cruise down together.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to cancel the Quarterly meet in Tucson. There is just not enough people who are willing to go just yet.

I would still like to have the meet, only have it here in the PHX area instead. I will take suggestions on what to do and where to meet. Maybe grabbing a bite to eat somewhere, and then a quick run out to SpeedWorld for some Saturday night racing??

Then we'll go grab something to eat, probably out at Tempe Market Place. After that we'll cruise out to F1 Race Factory for some go-kart racing.
