Unlocking A Cell Phone???

So... i got a fido phone from the back of my friends car cause someone left it in there, and both my rogers cell phone and the fido one have SIM cards, anyone know how i can get it unlocked to use the rogers sim card in the fido phone without having to pay for them to unlock it at a store?
When i Turn The phone on with the rogers card in it it asks me to enter a restriction code... if that helps lol
if any one knows, or has any information that would be awsome thanks.

i'd say...return it to whoever it belongs to...

but if you really want to unlock it, just bring it to a local phone dealer or something (not rogers or fido cause they won't do it)

no its my friends old phone lol he got a new one with rogers, and a phone came with his plan, this one was pay as you go...

oh ok, i guess that's alright then. If it was stolen, i'd say that you're a dick, but in your case, it's alright.

AK, i don't think he's wiling to drive to pac mall to get a phone unlocked. haha (I'm guessing he's from hamilton area)

It was rebuilt under 10k ago too...
meh... It's Warrantied :)
