header pop
i have the hotshot header and now its startin to make a popping sound once in a while mainly when the rpms drop
i was told its just a pressure thing but could it be because of a leak???

for my comfort im gonna go with gouda and yes it does sound cool just making sure its a good thing
oh and i always thought your sig was a photoshop of a charger cop car till i actually saw one, thats craziness

i agree i love the afterfire pop . i get it mainly when i am really going for it on the track. it happens every so often when i drive around on the street to. does yours put out a fire ball when it happens?

You can eliminate the 'pop' by adjusting your timing(advance)

mine did it the most when i had a high flow cat but i put a standard cat back on to get back some low end torque. after that it went away for the most part. put would send a 2ft flame out the pipe at almost every shift when i was racing at the local track.

my exhaust gets some mean pops on decelerations..... it's sexy...and with the right footwork and some over saturated injectors (i tune my own ecu with chrome) i can even get some fast and the curious fires going but the cat definatly slows those down.
but with nearly stock ecu tuning the car is loud as hell but never gets the little fires.. as for 2 foot flame... fuck... unless oyu have a sparked exhaust and no cat that should never happen

my old cat was a hi-flow= big cat looking straight pipe and i have the trd kazooma exhaust. before i put a real cat back on the ecu was over enriching the mix so bad that fuel would pool in the exhaust. took a trip from south georgia to tampa florida and none of my friends that i went down their with would ride behind me. they kept getting fuel on their wind shields. gas mileage sucked so bad, but that is why i put out such big fire balls.
