I'm picking it up tonight but no wiring. There is no plan for a swap...but I am considering a 5sfte because of the bolt capability. Otherwise Ill build it up on the side and maybe got through the swap anmake sure everything is there b4 I swap. Im excited! Im only getting the engine with manifol and mid pipe...hopefully I can get it out of my van when I get it homewith a wooden planck (recommended by fred)

Amed... don't take this the wrong way but your an idot! Did you learn nothing over the past year while watching Tyrone and I.
you have a motor, great now what about everything else? So many sensor's your missing not to mention the ECU and wiring Harness. Did it atleast come with the injectors.

If I were you scrap the 3sgte Idea and go 5sfte. At least all you will really need is the map sensor and a few other things. If your planning on the swap give yourslef a full year to source the parts as your going to have to wait for the deals to come up.

Dude Im shocked that you did this. I thought you would have known better. Good luck and start saving this is going to get expensive

mike i saw what you guys went through and im getting the engine for 200$!!!!!!!
otherwise I wouldn't do it at all. I dont plan on swapping unless I ave it all ready to go in. We talked about your issues this weekend and i am aware of them but I am just saying for 200 bucs you cant go wrong. And I plan on doing a 5sfte if anything right now. Otherwise I might just learn off it or source parts off it (that I can use)

200 you can go wrong... I got motor wiring harness and ecu for 750 and look at my project.

how bout you just drive your 15 yr old car around and NOT fuck it up for the next 6+ months and save your money. THEN, you can buy a car that is actually worth modding to that degree.

laugh all you want I dont give a shit...your negative about everything and anything and are rarely any help. I spoke to mike and piney, people with experience with 5th gens and they ahve different opinions. and the engine is not 15 years old, its more like 10, which is still old. And I would only run this is the summer anyway. But hey thanks for the negatiity with no explanation, always gives me a laugh.

Hey I've never been one to argue with you. I've seen enough shit go wrong, like yourself, so I see where your opinions come from. One thing everyone needs to keep in mind is that they are JUST opinions...albiet harsh, it is a good view from someone who has had experience in the shit that goes wrong with any project.

5S-GTE with low boost is easier. He can keep 5S ECU and wiring. Need some way to do fuel managment and boost control. Even if he just do 5S-FTE, he get a turbo kit for $200. Maybe he can even sell the engine later and his turbo kit will cost nothing.

i'd look at all angles if you decide to go ahead with any project. A motor for $200 maybe too good to be true. Just my 2 cents. Good find tho.
