Mileage On YOUR Celica?

Kind of a random post. Anyways, post how many kilometres are on your Celica (on the original motor) or how many were on it before it died... When you post its mileage, post how well it runs aswell, im just curious as to how far these things can go! My 5th gen has **457, 027** and runs without a tick in it. Its The 2.2L 5sfe motor. In A 1990 Gt Coupe.

but i just hit 92000 miles on my 6th gen
runs perfect

225 till i pulled it... leaked oil like a mofo but still ran awesome even with the dirtyest oil. I could start it and put it into the burnout pit without warming up and she never sounded anything but healthy

Stock motor on the car now 54400km already changed 2 sets of lift bolts and waterpump

Project motor before it blew approx 12000miles

252,000km, car is still running good, have changed everything from starter, alternator, timing belt, radiator, and so on

Tranny replaced @ 75,000
Tranny mounts and water pump @ 94,000

I'm dumping the Celica in May and buying a 4 door something.

WHY did your tranny die???

No specific reason. It started off with a faint noise when I de-accelerated and it got louder and louder. I took it in and they replaced the tranny. Pretty scarey considering it had less then 80,000 clicks and I don't drive the car hard at all.

101,000, just havn the cam belt done at the moment. Runs really well

17 500 on a 2004 and runs like a dream, will have to see how long it will last after turbo is installed

current 5th gen celica...just over 200 000 on engine 240 ish on body
