Problems with Tranny installation
So I waited on my mr2 tranny, I got the alltrac shifter cables & axles, I go to install everything, and I get the tranny bolted to the block, the passenger side engine mount is in, all the wires are hooked back up. I have the intermediate shaft hooked up, and I go to install the shifter cables before I go any further, and it won't shift into 1st, 3rd, 5th, or reverse.
So what I want to know is 1. If the front & rear mount are not hooked up will it cause the tranny to be so far out of place that I can't put it into those gears. 2. My clutch pedal won't move an inch is there something I'm missing or forgetting to do what would cause my clutch pedal to not move like that.
