Had problems last year with the rear window on my 97 celica convertible and after much searching around managed to get a local upholster guy to fix it, with the help of his son who works for one of the local glass companies. They glued it and it's been fine up unitl last week!
Took it back to him and we have had to go with puttn in a plastic window cause the glass just won't stay glued!!!!!!! Can't believe how bloody hard it is to find someone who fixes that sort of thing up here, guess that happens when ya live in a small place, even Toyota wern't that helpful!!!!!!! The plastic window looks ok but I really liked the glass. Still have the glass window just in case in the future I can find someone to put it back. |

that's no good
The glass would be a lot nicer, becuz the plastic will fade, haze and turn yellowish and just look like crap eventually, where the glass can stay real nice for a really long time. Plus the plastic is harder to clean well without causing it to haze. (like on the older miatas, they are a pain in the ass...I much prefer glass windows too) best of luck finding someone to fix your window for ya.
