Panasonic MP3 Deck Problems

Hey,
I have recently baught a Panasonic edition Celica, and the stock MP3 player will not play burnt MP3's. It keeps giving me an error code "E4".
I do not have the book for this deck, can anyone help me out?

I was looking around and one guy told me that it may be caused by the type of cd used. He told me to try other types. I did this but it did not make much of a difference. I'm still getting an error.

THX

I think they went up a model but not sure if the deck will give the same problem.

Another problem with the stock deck is that it would kick out the cd when you start up your car on cold mornings. I had mine changfed 3times then gave up and bought an upgraded unit.

damn the panasonic deck sucks...all my mp3's skip and pop. They are all 128 or above so I dont understand. Should I maybe burn them on a slower speed? and for refrence I'm using fairly good sony cd-rw's could that be the problem? that it's an rw rather then just an r?

I know the solution. BUY GOOD CD-R'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maxell - Sony, will work, the rest will not, and use NERO.

I had the same issue. Do not use those 10dollar 50pack, your deck will just not read that garbage.

I tried every type of cd-r and cd-rw's and they were all the same. The best I found was the Mitusmi good luck finding them tho.

Even buring at a slower speed won't help. You could try changing formats.

I just tried 3 differnt brands of disks...2 different burning programs and 3 differnt speeds of burning. All the same result. This is bullshit...why bother putting an mp3 player in a car if it doesnt work

Its probably how you burn it to. Make sure your burning on "Track At Once" instead of "Disc At Once" ... or was it vise versa... But that setting is what was screwing up my MP3 CD's. BTW I use the cheapest of the cheap CD's in my MP3 deck. Although it is Panasonic, and it plays all of them fine.

I don't know man I tried everything from even using different programs and burners to burn and had the same problems.

The deck that comes witht he car is the cheepest panasonic deck around the ones you buy at a store are a lot better
