JDM Motor...DOMESTIC ECU?

can anybody tell me if a jdm 3sge work with a domestic ecu??? im getting a jdm motor from nippon motors and a jdm ecu is another 300!

it will work but call it a usdm ecu i thought you were goign to try to run a jap motor on a chevy ecu or somthing.
