I would prefer the MR2 personally. But its all about opinion. AWD vs RWD

you're arguing for the 5th gen alltrac over a 2nd gen mr2 because of handing? i would find a different point for comparison if you're trying to convince yourself to ditch your mr2 for an alltrac. traction in poor weather conditions maybe?
you are better off with the mr2 if handling (to the point of "pushing it") is important to you. |

that's a different story. in that case the celica would be a better choice, but then again there are many cars that are more purposeful for carrying passengers. remember the celica is still a coupe with limited rear passenger area.

limited rear is absolutely correct, they should still be a 4 seater (like mine :D ) because u aren't fitting many more than 2 back there without really cramming...however if you are looking to fit more than 1 passenger than you definitely need something else...however if you still want power, save the money on trying to find/purchase a gt-4 get a regular 5th gen and swap in a 3sgte. The awd system is heavy and then you need alot more power for go fast ability. Also AWD is tricky to learn to drive too, especially from the 90's. Will push into a corner and then suddenly become quite tailhappy. FWD is easier to learn to drive with (especially in winter), than when you feel confident upgrade to RWD and AWD.
if you are really worried about pass. space, just get an early 90's lincoln town car, lots or room, lots of power, RWD, plus you can fit over 12 2-4's in the trunk, or 2-3 dead bodies...or extra passengers, ![]()

nah we had one in at work, and we could fit two people over 6', over 200lbs in there no problem, and we measured it out for the 2-4's (12 is being conservative btw)

Ya, the back seat in a Celica sucks.
Try fitting 6 people in a Celica, one of them who takes up one whole back seat. Yea. That was fun. I've actually done this in a 5th and 7th gen. in the 5th, I had 4 people in the back. in the 7th, we had three in back and three in front. Yea. Imagine shifting with your girlfriends crotch on the stick (wasn't mine, it was my buddies).
