car wont start :(
okay so i went out to the mall to do some Christmas shopping and the car will not start. I parked and tehn saw a closer spot so was going to move the car but it would not start. The car cranks no problem but thats all it will do. I can not smell any fuel when i continually crank. Any ideas guys? right now im stuck in richmondhill :(

short circuit somewhere can cause it to keep blowing. i had a similar problem a long time ago on my camry when i mistakenly attached the battery terminals on the wrong sides.

Didn't try 20A but we put in a third good fuse in and it still won't start and it didn't melt. The second one didn't melt completely, current still flow. We're guessing fuel pump and hoping not the ECU. Freezing in parking lot doesn't help a bit.

ok so yea im really hoping it is just the fuelpump wittch thankfully mike has a spare. That fuse was weird though that it blew and then half melted but the next one is doing fine. Im just hoping its something stupid like the fuelpump sucked in some garbage or something.

the check engine light was off untill we replaced the fuse....also i had my back seats out to try and listen for the fuel pump but still could not hear it which is what is making me lean towards a fuel related issue....there is no smell of gas inside of the cylinders after i cranked it repeatedly.
Ratko just wondering how expensive that problem was for you with all the labour of them finding the problem and then fisxing the wiring?

have you check to see if your injector's are fireing? make sure that your injector ground is good that could have freyed away.
Everybody always thinks its their pump that is fucking up which is usually just a false hope. Quickly check it to make sure the pump isn't bunged up with crap but most likely that is not the cause of your problem.

After taken the fuel pump out, connect it directly to battery and find out its running. He put it back checked fuel does come out, reconnect everything and the car started!!! Don't know why maybe the pump got stuck and losen up after direct connection to battery.
