Whats best?

Lowering the car or gettn side skirts.
97 celica convertible is what I have.
Not sure about the lowering as we have speed humps down our driveway to slow down our motel and backpacker guests otherwise they speed cause the driveway is loose metal.
Also not sure on what size rims to go for, 15,16 or 17. Any comments wouild be appreciated. :D

lower first. Why would just get side skirts and that's all? as far as rim size I would say 17's

If I get 17's then how much do I have to lower the car, as you acn tell I'm pretty new to all this but in the last couple of weeks I've been gettn the bug to start makn changes to the car :D

Don't know what the weather is like there year round but I like 1.5 - 2 inch drop personally. Just enough to get rid of the fender gap.

We are headn into our summer at the moment and the winter here is just rain, we don't get the snow in the top half of the North Island.

yeah, lower it before getting side skirts or rims. follow this sequence, it works.

Suspension is always my first mod. I personally prefer handling/braking over cosmetics. Plus what good ae skirts, when the car looks like a 4x4.
