ofcourse, to keep it for long long time, i suggest a good old 8000km brake in period.

Retards, break in periods are a thing of the past. They used to be usefull in the 1950's when everycar wasn' made the same way and it actually took time for certain bearings etc.. to settle. With laser percision these days breakins are absolutely unnecessary. Change your oil @ 2000k and start hauling ass.

I know that...I actually will change my oil after about the first 1k other then that I dont break cars in at all. For the first 1000km's you should take it easy a bit just because they use a different blend of oil at first then what is recommended.

Smart man. You don't want a lazy engine, like Serge.

Lazy engine.. hmm.. I always wondered if that was just a myth.. If its real, can't you just disconnect your battery to reset the ECU and then your engine won't be "lazy" anymore?

I havent heard of any engine problems. I heard the 03's had a few tranny glitches and the 350's have the tire feathering issue but other then that there hasnt been anything negative so far that I've read.

Its not only up to the ecu. Carbon builds up, certain parts don't get used in ways they should etc...

The G35 wins. The RX-8 is to the "sports cars" what the celica is to the sports compacts. Underpowered and handles well.
